Kindle Paperwhite

NOTE - I haven’t published sketches, presentations, and designs online because most of the work is unreleased and covered by NDA.

In 2012, I interned on the UX team at Lab126, the division of Amazon that makes the Kindle. During my time there, I worked with 2 user researchers to understand reading culture and electronic device usage in Japan and China, and their potential as new markets for the Kindle.

I combed through and synthesised the research to find insights, create design principles, and produce feature concepts tailored to those markets. I also designed and built a website as a reference for the team to dig further into the principles, concepts, and the research they were based on.
